Dan DiPaolo’s unique and whimsical art elicits smiles and laughter whenever it is seen. It is this simple joy that has-and continues-to inspire Dan’s paintings. The unique style that is the Dan DiPaolo brand draws its inspiration from the simple things in life. Dan's modern hand combined with a country flair, along with his ability to put a handmade touch into everything he creates, set the stage for success for his brand. The whimsical elements that he incorporates into almost every piece of art really hit home with his fans. Dan began painting when he was five years old and always loved it. His high school Art Instructor recognized Dan’s incredible talent and encouraged him to follow his passion and pursue a career in the field of art. In 1984, he began that dream and has continued to follow his passion ever since. In 1993, Dan began working for The Lang Company where he was the Executive Creative Director until 2007. Dan’s art collections were, and continue to be, among the most successful in the history of the company. His art is represented at Lang on a plethora of paper products including calendars, mugs, note cards, stationary, and napkins. In 2007, Dan’s long-time dream of creating art for a living became a reality when he opened Dan DiPaolo Studios. Over the past several years, his art has expanded into many more product categories including indoor and outdoor figural, ceramic dinnerware, kitchen textiles/utensils, garden, and home accessories. Dan’s fabulous artwork collections are made up of both seasonal and every day themes. Some of his most successful seasonal collections include Christmas/Holiday, Fall/Harvest, Halloween, and Valentine’s Day. His everyday collections include “Girlfriends”, “Coffee”, “Rooters”, “Chefs”, and the brand new “Farmers’ Market”. Dan’s personal favorite is his Coffee collection because, as he says “I LOVE coffee!!!” The smiles and laughter that Dan sees in his customers’ hearts and eyes is what has always, and continues to, inspire him.
